Collaboration with the University of Iceland on Cyber Security

Cyber security is an important challenge that Laki Power faces. Laki Power implements security measures in every part of the manufacturing process to prevent security vulnerabilities - beginning with the physical design of the device.

Laki Power recently concluded a successful collaboration with the Computer Science department of the University of Iceland on cyber security. Students in a course called 'Cyber-security for Critical Infrastructure' were given the assignment to "apply the hacker mindset to critical infrastructure organizations in Iceland". The students objective was to test the LKX-201 device with regards to operation integrity in the case of a cyber attack. The results were that no vulnerabilities were discovered.

We are grateful for every opportunity to enhance the security of our systems and services and want to give thanks to the University of Iceland for the collaboration.
